This blog was created out of a tremendous amount of love and adoration for a singular American National Treasure... Professor James C. Humes.
An irrepressible and frankly adorable storyteller of the highest caliber, Dr. Humes is not only THE foremost expert on Winston Churchill in the entire world, he is by far the most riotously entertaining!
The Ryals Professor Of Language and Leadership, Prof. Humes was a speechwriter for Presidents Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford, and Reagan. He has written 28 books, including, The Sir Winston Method, Citizen Shakespeare, and The Wit & Wisdom of Winston Churchill.
Professor Humes is also a former trial lawyer, legislator and was awarded the OBE by Queen Elizabeth II for his historical works on Churchill and Shakespeare.
